Day 2 & 3 of English Camp

The Lord is answering prayers! We have a strong unity that has been clearly felt between the Uruguay and American teams and our high school service team helpers as we continue to learn about the International Space Station. We also learned some interesting facts about Jamaica yesterday and Israel today. Each member of our team is flourishing in their role. The kids at the camp are smiling and engaging in English conversations more each day. We are taking time to encourage and recognize what God is doing here at camp and in our personal growth as we spend time with Him. We highly anticipate the 4th of July celebration and the interactions we will have with the students and their families. Please continue to keep this in your prayers - for good weather and for lasting impact and connections to be formed. Thanks again for continuing to pray on our behalf.

Sorry I can’t include pictures of the camp right now, but here are a few other highlights.

Quick update to say thanks for your prayers - we soaked in praise and prayer this morning and then had a terrific 1st day at English camp interacting with the kids and learning about Scotland and the international space station. Everyone was really energetic and patient in their roles! We also celebrated Pastor Drew’s birthday! They use a type of sparkler as their candles here!

Today started with Pastor Drew delivering the message to El Estar church. We had an amazing grilled pizza lunch, decorated for English camp (space theme), stopped for a coffee break and then enjoyed a  wonderful dinner with 2 International Workers families. We feel loved and blessed by their hospitality! We start English camp tomorrow - please continue to pray that we can abundantly be filled with LOVE and JOY by the Holy Spirit so that we can LAVISH it upon the kids and their families this week. Blessings!

Please continue to pray for our team to represent Christ and Crosspointe well from June 28 - July 7. Prayer ideas - unity, protection & safety, travel & logistics, bring encouragement to International Workers and their families, ministry of English Camp - to make strong strong connections with the students and their families, no rain on the 4th of July so that we can have fantastic attendance at the BBQ we are sponsoring.

We will continue to update this Blog when we are able. Thanks for following along with us!
